Out of Focus

This is hanging on our wall in the den.

When I ordered some prints, Chris was looking through them and asked why the people who printed them didn't correct these pictures. I told him that's the way they were supposed to be printed. ;)

I just hung these today and am really enjoying looking at my out of focus pictures!

 

Bacon Cheeseburger Chicken

This was good, but next time I would probably leave the bacon cheeseburger out.  ;)   The best part to me was the teriyaki/ranch combination that was rubbed on the chicken before anything else.  Talk about yummy!  I want to make the combination again, let chicken marinate in it and grill it...or put it in the crockpot.

Tonight we're having Garlic Chicken Farfelle.....can't wait!  :)

Yum yum yum!  I would definitely make these again!  They would have been great with some marinara dipping sauce as well, but definitely tasty!

Chicken Burritos

Next time, I will make these smaller (not a burrito-sized tortilla) and not use as much taco seasoning.  I think it was basically shredded chicken meat, black beans and cheese for filling.  The burritos weren't bad, but they could be better.

Dressed-Up Sloppy Joes

Success!  These were great.  I just put the sloppy joe meat in the crockpot, heated it up, and left it on the counter so we could take bites of it all throughout the day.  I even got a "De-lish!" from Chris.  He says he likes everything I cook (yes, I'm bragging---or either he has no taste buds!  lol) but it's rare that he goes back for seconds or really raves about the dishes.  So I was excited about these!

Ranch Slider Burgers

These weren't a big hit at suppertime.  One of the ingredients is breadcrumbs, something I rarely (if ever) cook with.  Why I felt the need to add them to burgers, I'm not sure, but I will probably not do that again.  Ranch burgers are a great idea, but these just didn't work.   :(
